Differences In Furniture Arrangement of Residential Living Spaces, Site Example

 

Housing varies according to the needs of the users depending on economic, cultural, social and religious influences.This article, whose general purpose is to determine how the living rooms affect the furniture arrangement of the living room during their lifetime in a particular environment, contains the findings of the study on the living space (living room) of apartment-type dwellings. In addition, the question of whether the current pandemic process affects the living space is also emphasized. Within the scope of the study, the furniture in the living room was determined and the usage frequency of these furniture was measured. In addition, it has been observed that the living space is divided into three regions as "living", "eating" and "entertainment" depending on the activity, and it has been revealed that there are similarities and differences in furniture layout configurations of different families. The data show that the common items found in each living room are a sofa, coffee table, dining table, chairs, and television unit / coffee table.
