The Relationship Between Architecture and The Other Arts

Architecture is the job of designing the structures that arise as a need to meet and sustain human actions. Design; It is a process where creativity and knowledge are used and new products are introduced. The design is the original works. Design and architecture are two phenomena that are constantly interacting and alternately affecting each other. There are also various disciplines in which architecture interacts with the concept of design. These disciplines provide the current sustainability of architecture by affecting architecture directly or indirectly. Architecture and other arts have always been intertwined; However, with Modernism, all the branches of art emerged in the direction of the separation of other fields, and as with all arts, architecture gained a different perspective. This situation can be considered as a turning point in terms of the relationship between art and architecture; however, architecture and other branches of art have continued their unity in a development. Therefore, architecture, regardless of style, music, painting, fashion design, sculpture, graphics and so on. is developing in harmony with such art branches and products. In this study, by looking at the relationship between architecture and other arts, it is aimed to create these bases during the undergraduate education. Thus, by creating an awareness, various variations can be created as a concept for both studio projects and future designs.
