Evaluation Relating to Physical Environment Factors of Department Stores within Scope of Corporate Identity
In this research, it is aimed to evaluate physical environment factors of department stores within scope of corporate identity. For this reason, Mudo Concept and Boyner Department Stores in Ankara Panora Shopping Center have been selected as research environment. Evaluations of these stores’ interior users in relation to physical environment factors have been determined via a detailed survey. In conclusion, most of the users has stated that there is a relation between corporate identity and interior design of these stores and it is determined that physical environment factors have a big impact on establishing this relation. It is understood that physical environment factors of department stores with two different corporate identity become distinct and this distinction is caused by their relation with corporate identity. Moreover, it is determined that users from different age and gender groups have a partially different view regarding their evaluation about physical environment factors of department stores and their perception about corporate identity of department stores. |
