Effects on Employees’ Perceptual Performance of the Worktable Panel Colors used in Open Plan Offices

In this study, it is aimed to determine the perception of the spatial qualities of open plan offices which have the same characteristics but different worktable panel colors (red and white). Accordingly, it is assumed that different worktable panel colors used in the open offices will have an effect on the perceptual performance of the office employees. In order to test this assumption, ERSA office workers who use "+" shaped worktables with red and white panel colors in the Sincan OSB settlement were asked to evaluate open plan offices by using semantic differentiation scale. According to the evaluation results, it was determined that the employees using open offices with white panel color tends to evaluate the spaces more positive than the employees using open plan offices with red panel color.
