Defining Self-Organizing Systems as Design Problems
The aim of this study is to define self-developing systems as a design problem in the context of creative communities. Self-developing systems can describe in order to satisfy unmet local needs. If the basic services (transportation, education, communication, etc.) of a community can’t be solved by organizations (government, municipal corporation, non-governmental organizations, etc.) or fails to meet the solutions with their basic needs, communities could be used to solve their problems with local solutions. These systems can be defined as a design problem when organizations reconsider these solutions to adapt globalized systems. In this research the emergence of design problems and the role of designer will be discussed under social innovation context. |
