Evaluation of Mobile Home Manufacturing in terms of Legislation

One of the most important factors in the formation of housing during the transition from nomadism to settled life has been the economy. Accordingly, people have started to use mobile living practices by changing their shelters and lifestyles in this process. Nowadays, it is obvious that people want to get away from the density and crowds of the big city, there have been and will be increases in the use of mobile housing after the Coronavirus pandemic that emerged in 2019 and natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, landslides. For this reason, mobile housing manufacture needs to be controlled and controlled. In the current situation, there are points open to interpretation and arbitrary practices in the standards and regulations related to mobile housing production. Therefore, the main source of the problems is the lack of an inclusive legislation regarding the manufacture and locating process of mobile homes in our country. In the study; It is aimed to determine the issues that need to be added/improved to the mobile housing legislation in our country by examining the legal regulations related to mobile housing in the world and in our country, revealing the similarities and differences. It is hoped that the study will contribute to the field in terms of legislation and will be a guide in the operation of the process.
