Approach To Tourism-Art Places After Covid-19 Pandemic: The Case Of Galataport
In the process of normalization after the Covid-19 Pandemic, people understood the necessity of taking some precautions in order to return to social life in a healthy way. Therefore, the individual turned to differences in the preferred interaction areas for the act of socializing. In this study, the search for different places and the reasons for choosing Galataport, which is one of the most beautiful examples of these places, are emphasized. Highly preferred interactive spaces after the epidemic; increased people's longing and need for these places. Interactive spaces; it also allows the individual to continue his/her vital activities such as the need for socialization. Unlike other spaces, which are designed as closed with the conventional roof system, giving more space to open spaces, as in the example of Galataport, has been one of the reasons for preference as the individual finds it more reliable in the normalization process. Another feature of this formation is its contribution to tourism, which is discussed in this article. In the normalization process we are in, with the concepts of social distance and isolation taking place in our lives, the design criteria of interactive spaces have been prepared in line with the information obtained by scanning various internet, books, magazines, and articles within the scope of this study. In this direction, while the reasons for the preference of Galataport, which is one of the interactive spaces, are emphasized, the importance of architectural design is underlined. |
