Artificial Lighting in Hotel Buildings: Hatay, "Jasmin Konak" Boutique Hotel Example

 

In the past, hotels were thought of as small structures that only provide accommodation services, but today these structures have become structures that respond to many different functions such as sports activities, various meetings and organizations. Therefore, the lighting schemes in these structures need to be created for these different functions. In the lighting of hotel interiors, it is necessary to provide healthy vision conditions by considering the functions to be performed in these places. Then, in line with the atmosphere to be created, lighting schemes can be created to bring a number of aesthetic phenomena to the forefront. In this study, the issue of artificial lighting in hotel buildings is discussed. The lighting schemes of Jasmin Konak Boutique Hotel in Antakya were examined and evaluated in line with the lighting principles.
