Türkiye’de Z Kuşağı’nın Konut Algısı Üzerinden Geleceğin Konutlarına İlişkin Önermeler

ÖZET Günümüzde birçok disiplini etkisi altına alan hızlı değişim, dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de kendisini göstermektedir. Özellikle küreselleşmenin etkisi ile birlikte Mimarlık da zaman zaman değişim ve dönüşüm geçirmekte, bireylerin ve toplumların zihinsel ve psiko-sosyal farklılaşmalarının etkisi altında kalmaktadır. Dolayısı ile geleceğin konutlarının potansiyel kullanıcıları olan Z Kuşağı’nın hayata bakış açısı, yorumlama kabiliyeti ve kültürel değerlere bağlılığı gibi etkenler, psiko-sosyal gereksinimlerinde değişim gösterebilmektedir. Bu nedenle, Z Kuşağı’nın çevreyi algılama biçimi, geleceğin konutlarında biçimsel ve işlevsel değişimlerin ortaya çıkmasında rol oynabilecektir. Çalışma kapsamında, bir yaşam alanı olan konutlara, Z Kuşağı’nın perspektifinden yaklaşarak, bu kuşağın mekansal algıları sorgulanmış ve gelecekte yaşamlarını sürdürecekleri konutlardaki olası beklentileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada konut kültürü, kuşak kavramı ve Z Kuşağı kavramsal olarak incelendikten sonra 18-22 yaş aralığında belirlenen 75 katılımcı ile bir anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcıların konut algısı; aidiyet, mahremiyet, esneklik ve estetik kavramları üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ışığında, Türkiye’de, Z Kuşağı’nın tercihleri doğrultusunda şekillenebilecek olan geleceğin konutlarına ilişkin önermeler geliştirilmiştir. Proposals For Future Houses Through The Housing Perception Of Generation Z ABSTRACT Today, the rapid change which influence many discipline areas shows in the World as well as in Turkey itself. Architecture, especially with the effect of globalization, is undergoing change and transformation from time to time and it is under the influence of mental and psycho-social differentiation of individuals and societies. These differentiations may reveal tendencies to evolve into different forms in the dwellings of the future. Therefore, factors such as the perspective on life of Z generation, who is the potential users of the houses of the future their interpretation ability and commitment to cultural values, may change in its psycho-social needs. For this reason, Generation Z's perception of the environment may play a role in the emergence of formal and functional changes in the dwellings of the future. Within the scope of the study, the spatial perceptions of this generation were investigated by approaching the houses that have a living space from the perspective of Generation Z and the possible expectations in the houses where they will continue their lives in the future are investigated. In the study, after the residential culture, generation and Z Generation were examined conceptually, a questionnaire study was carried out with 75 participants determined between the ages of 18-22. Participants' perception of housing; is evaluated on the concepts of belonging, privacy, flexibility and aesthetics. In the light of the data obtained in Turkey, propositions concerning the future which can be shaped according to the preferences of Generation Z housing have been developed.
