Otel Odaları için Bir Eko Mobilya Model Önerisi

ÖZET Devamlılığı çevre kalitesine bağlı olan turizm sektöründe çevre korumasının ikinci planda tutulduğu; çevre kalitesini düşüren uygulamalar ile zaman zaman karşılaşmak mümkündür. Özellikle turizm sektörünün ana ögelerinden bir tanesi olan otellerin, sarf malzemelerinden donatı ve yapı grubuna hemen her konuda çevre ve sürdürülebilirliğe titizlikle yaklaşmaları gerekmektedir. Otellerin büyük bir bölümünün yatma bölümü ve bu bölümde yer alan otel odalarından oluştuğu gözlemlenebilir. Otel odalarında ise mobilya grubunun oda içerisinde büyük yer kapladığı görülmektedir. Bu nedenle otel odalarında yer alan mobilya grubunun sürdürülebilir olması, bileşenlerinden bir tanesi olduğu otel ve turizmin çevreye olan etkilerini azaltacaktır. Bu çalışmada otellerde oda mobilyaları için sürdürülebilir oda mobilyası model önerisi sunulmuştur. Daha önce 15 otel üzerinden tespiti yapılmış ve Ccalc çevresel analiz programı ve uygulanan anketler yardımıyla çevresel etkileri belirlenmiş otel oda mobilya bileşenlerine yönelik bir eko-tasarım çalışması yapılmıştır. Her mobilya grubunda malzeme dönüşümü, işlevlerin birleştirilmesi ve kullanılan malzemelerin azaltılması gibi eko-tasarım stratejileri için beyin fırtınası ve fayda zarar tekniği uygulanarak model öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Süreç içerisinde eko-tasarım için dikkat edilen kullanım ömrü konusu dikkate alınarak çalışmalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak ortaya çıkan model önerisi, turizm sektörü yöneticileri ve bu sektör ile iş birliği içerisinde olan mobilya üreticileri için bir rehber görevi görecektir. ABSTRACT In the tourism sector, whose continuity depends on the quality of the environment, environmental protection is sometimes kept in the foreground; It is possible to encounter applications that reduce environmental quality. Especially, one of the main elements of the tourism sector, hotels must approach the environment and sustainability meticulously in all aspects, from consumables to equipment and building groups. It can be observed that a large part of the hotels consist of the sleeping part and the hotel rooms in this part. In hotel rooms, it is seen that the furniture group occupies a large space in the room. Therefore, the sustainability of the furniture group in the hotel rooms will reduce the environmental impact of the hotel and tourism, which is one of its components. In this study, sustainable room furniture model proposal for hotel furniture is presented. In this study; an eco-design study was carried out for hotel room furniture components based on environmental effects have been previously determined for 15 hotels with the help of Ccalc environmental analysis program and surveys. Model suggestions have been developed by applying brainstorming and benefit-loss techniques for eco-design strategies such as material conversion, combining functions and reducing materials used in each furniture group. In the process, studies have been carried out by taking into consideration the life span, which is considered for eco-design. The resulting model proposal will serve as a guide for tourism industry managers and furniture manufacturers in cooperation with this industry.
