Cephenin Mimarlıktaki Yerinin Günümüz Örnekleri Üzerinden Sorgulanması

ÖZET Mimarlık olgusu tasarımcıya, boşluktan anlamlı mekânlar oluşturma, iç ve dış mekânı estetik kaygılarla inşa etme imkânı sunmaktadır. Mimari ürün tasarımı ve üretimi, sanayileşme ile birlikte sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik çevre, toplum, teknolojik gelişmeler bakımından dönüşmüştür ve yapılar ihtiyaç, ölçek, işlev bakımından çeşitlenmiştir. Bu gelişmelerden en fazla etkilenen yapı elemanı ise cephe olmuştur. Çünkü yapının çevresi ile ilk iletişim kurduğu yer, zamanın izlerini taşıyan ve yansıtan, iç-dış mekân arasında ilişki kuran cephedir. Günümüzde cephe sadece dışta olan ve örten değildir; gelişmeler ile birlikte kimliği, dili olan, kütleyi tümü ile tanımlayan bir tasarım yüzeyine dönüşmüştür. Böylece cephe, en üst kotundan zemine kadar bütünlük içinde tasarlanmaktadır. Mimari yapım ve teknolojideki gelişmeler cepheyi görünüşü bakımından önemli bir noktaya getirmiştir ve salt görsellik için üretilmiş ikonik, heykelsi ve kısa sürede tüketilen ürünlerin ortaya çıkması gibi olumsuz sonuçlara da neden olmuştur ki bu durum çalışmanın problemini oluşturmaktadır. Günümüz mimarlık ortamındaki birey, tasarım nesnesinde aktif olarak yer alabildiği arayüz tasarımları sayesinde bütünlüğün içine dahil olabilmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında; konumu, işlevi, malzemesi ve hikayesini sunum şekli farklı olan mimari yapılar birey ile kurduğu ilişki, bütün olarak tasarlanması ve her etkileşimde yeniden üretilmesi iki farklı ölçüt grubu bakımından değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışma ile cephe anlayışındaki güncel tasarım ve anlamı ilişkisini kavramak adına bir okuma yönteminin ortaya konulması ve gelecek tasarımlar için zemin oluşturması amaçlanmaktadır. Questioning the Place of the Facade in Architecture through Contemporary Examples ABSTRACT The phenomenon of architecture offers the designer the opportunity to create meaningful spaces out of space and to build interior and exterior spaces with aesthetic concerns. Architectural design and production has transformed with industrialization, and structures have diversified in need, scale, function. Facade is the most effected element by these developments. Because it is the first place where the structure communicates with its surroundings between indoor and outdoor space. Today, the facade is not only external and covering; it has become a design surface that defines identity, language, mass with all. This ensured that the facade was designed in integrity from the top to the floor. Advances in architecture have made the facade an important point of its appearance, and have also led to negative consequences, such as the appearance of iconic products made for only the appearance, which is a problem of the study. Today, the individual can integrate thanks to the interface designs of the design. In the study, the relationship between several designs and individuals will be evaluated in terms of their design and reproduction as a whole. The aim of the study is to reveal the current situation and to create the basis for future designs.
